You decide who can do what

PropertyOS comes with ready-made roles such as Management, Sales Head, Sales Representative, Accounting, Admin and HR, and you can create your own. For every permission in a role, you choose how far it reaches:

  • Nobody can give themselves more powerPeople can't change their own roles, and can only hand out permissions they already have.

Protection built in

Behind the scenes, PropertyOS is built to OWASP standards, the checklist security experts use to test web systems.

Your own system

Your own branded copy, with its own server and database. Your data is never shared with another company.

Strong passwords

Passwords are stored scrambled, never as plain text, using the method security experts recommend. They must be at least 10 characters, common passwords are refused, and temporary passwords must be changed at first sign-in.

Locked after wrong guesses

Five wrong passwords lock the account for 15 minutes, and every sign-in attempt is recorded.

Two-step sign-in

Confirming payments and approving refunds also needs a code from the person's phone, not just a password.

Two to approve

Refunds and terminations need two senior people, the MD and the Head of Accounts, never one person alone.

Automatic sign-out

Sessions end after 12 hours without use. Changing a password signs out every other device, and staff can see and end their own sessions.

A record nobody can erase

Every money and permission change is recorded with who did it, when, and what it was before and after. The record can't be edited or deleted, not even by an administrator.

ID numbers encrypted

Customer ID numbers are stored encrypted. Staff see only the last 4 digits.

Secure connection

Everything travels over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), with browser protections against common web attacks.
