How we collect, use and protect your personal information. Last updated: 11 October 2026.
1. Who we are
Haverut Limited ("Haverut", "we", "us") is a company registered in Nigeria (RC 9132693), with its office in Abuja, Nigeria. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us at info@haverut.com or 0913 341 7289.
2. What this policy covers
This policy covers this website and the information you give us when you contact us, register interest in Haverut Academy, or do business with us. Information that our customers store in systems we provide them, such as PropertyOS, is covered by our agreement with that customer. For that information, the customer decides how it is used, and we process it on their instructions.
3. What we collect
- What you tell us: your name, phone number, email address, company and your message when you use our contact form, call, email or WhatsApp us.
- Technical information: when you visit the website, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical details such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site running and secure.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this website.
4. Why we use it
- To reply to your questions and give you the information you asked for (your consent, and steps taken at your request before a contract).
- To provide services you have bought from us (performance of a contract).
- To keep the website secure and working (our legitimate interest).
- To meet legal duties, such as keeping tax and accounting records (legal obligation).
We will not send you marketing messages unless you have agreed to receive them, and you can stop them at any time.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business, such as our website host, our email providers and our form-handling service, and only as far as they need it to provide their service. Some of these providers may store information outside Nigeria. When that happens, we take the steps the law requires to make sure your information stays protected. We may also share information when the law requires it.
6. How long we keep it
We keep messages and contact details for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry or serve you as a customer, and then for up to 2 years unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
7. Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is wrong;
- ask us to delete your information;
- object to, or ask us to limit, how we use it;
- withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent;
- complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
To use any of these rights, email info@haverut.com.
8. How we protect it
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to keep personal information safe, including secure connections (HTTPS), access only for staff who need it, and trusted service providers.
9. Fonts
This website loads its font from Google Fonts. When your browser downloads the font, Google receives your IP address. Google's own privacy policy applies to that.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
